Event Coordinator, Mission Navy Yard
Heaven began her hospitality career at the age of 20 when she took a job at a popular restaurant in Chicago. What started as a part-time job to make extra money during college turned into a full-time position working directly under the General Manager. After two years, Heaven moved to Los Angeles to work in the nightclub industry, collecting covers at the door and later becoming an Events and Bottle Service Manager. After working in the PR industry, she decided to move to D.C., a place where she often visited as a child. After working in the non-profit sector, she missed the fast pace of the hospitality industry. After working for a restaurant in Shaw, she joined Mission Group, working on the events team at one of the busiest bars in the city. In her free time, you can find Heaven drinking margaritas on her rooftop, planning her next tropical vacation, or day dreaming about tacos.
